Julylights: July 1st, Hossa Finishes Kane's Spin-o-rama

Welcome to Julylights, a month long series taking the top plays of the '11-'12 season and giving them to you one a day, every day of the month of July.

The Chicago Blackhawks have a fast-skating, high powered offense, that can blow by defenders if they get a step on the opposing team. This is exactly what happened when winger, Patrick Kane, got around Anaheim Ducks defender, Toni Lydman.

But rather than drop his shoulder and drive the net, Kane stopped up and delivered a spin-o-rama pass to teammate, Marian Hossa, who was streaking down the far-side. Hossa tapped in the goal, one of his 77 points on the season. (Video after the jump)

Maybe if Saku Koivu backchecks a little harder that goal is stopped. But he didn't, and in result we have one of the prettiest plays of the season and for that we thank you Mr. Koivu.
