Drew Doughty conitinued his stellar play in the Los Angeles Kings' game two win of the Stanley Cup Finals against the New Jersey Devils. He scored the Kings' first goal of the game, unloaded three shots and registered the most time on ice for the Kings with just under 28 minutes.
Doughty also upped the physical aspect of his game, when he backed into the Devils' Stephen Gionta and Zach Parise. Since Doughty almost skated backwards into the Devils' forwards when he hit them with his back and side the two hits had a Niklas Kronwall type feel to them.
Of course they did not have the power that Kronwall usually has behind his hits, but they were good solid hits by the Kings' d-man. Check out the hit on Parise below.
