Video: Rangers' Anisimov Scores, Snipes Lightning In Celly

In the second period of the New York Rangers' 3-2 shootout lose to the Tampa Bay Lightning, Artem Anisimov scored his fifth goal of the year to put the Rangers up 2-1 at that time. What happened after the goal is what made the play unique. Anisimov finished off a backdoor pass, and then he celebrated (check it out below).

Anisimov coasted backwards to the blue line where he dropped to one knee and shot at the Tampa Bay Lightning goalie with his stick. Lightning captain, Vincent Lecavalier, responded instantly but was cut off before getting to Anisimov. But, Steve Downie decided to join in and jumped from the bench to get a few jabs in at Anisimov, as chaos ensued..

Downie will likely get in some kind of trouble by the league for leaving the bench and joining in on the ruckus. Anisimov may receive some punishment as well.
